The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away!

"the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." Job 1:21

My little pearl sprouted wings and flew into the arms of Jesus. What a glorious life-from the womb to the arms of Jesus- to never have to know the sorrows, sin, and heartache of this world. What a blessing!

Dear Sister Liz,
I am hurting for you, here is a verse that helped me when we lost our wee one in 2008...

"Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation".

Habakkuk 3:17-18

Such joy in heaven one day when we get to see our babies!

Elizabeth, my dear sister,

My heart is so very heavy at this moment for you. No words large or small can I convey to absorb your or the grief of your family at this time. I am truly sorry for your loss. May the Lord be a comfort to you and your family and bless you all

Know that you are not alone. Not many know or remember that I too lost a son eight months into the pregnancy and even to this day, I remember him and the pain of the loss. I take comfort in knowing he is at the side of my Heavenly Father and for that I am grateful.

I will say prayers for you and your family. Know that I love you very much and plese let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Your brother,

I'm SO sorry Liz! I don't even know what to say. My heart aches for you. Someday you will know God's reasoning behind it all but it doesn't make it any less painful now. I love you. Let me know if you need anything.

Sis Liz, I am so sorry to hear that your child has gone to the Lord so soon. With you, I will look forward to one day meeting them up in heaven. Although it was for such a short time, God entrusted you with that soul. He needed a strong mother with a godly heart, one who would be able to bear the pain of early separation. You've been paid one of the highest compliments by your Creator. Our prayers are with you and your family. Tie a knot in the end of your rope and hang on to God!
